Carolyn’s House Culinary Garden

Carolyn’s House is a supportive housing program for homeless women and children operated by the YWCA of the Niagara Frontier. Each year NBC volunteers work with both the youth and adults to plant a vegetable and herb garden located on the apartment premises. The residents of Carolyn’s House do a great job maintaining the garden throughout the year. Once harvested, the produce is used in the YWCA’s Culinary Arts program – where residents are asked to create a menu using only items found in the garden.
